Ed O'Neill guest stars as the spurned lover in this gripping episode. But the twist is that really it was all in his head, fantasies run amok, twisted beyond all recognition. This episode screened about the same time as Married...With Children debuted, and the characters Ed plays in the latter is a polar opposite for sure. Yvette Nipar also guest stars.

Warning: Spoilers
The series kicks off after the pilot. Jack Killian is settling in as a radio presenter although I'm not sure arriving 30 seconds before your show is about to begin is the done thing.
Ed O'Neill stars as Hank. A troubled man who rings the Nighthawk.
He tells Jack that he will kill his girlfriend for splitting up with him and then himself.
The incident has people tuning in to the broadcast. Journalists are in a frenzy and the police need to track Hank down.
It turns out that Hank was disabled in an accident, he was in construction and the spurned lover was his physio.
Once his physio was over, Hank viewed that as a break up of the relationship.
It is a nice moody hook for the start of the regular series. It also interplays well with the police and journalist characters of Zymak and Bridges.
Good performance from O'Neill.
