When Rollin locks Jim in the greenhouse with Mrs. Hagar, the log he uses has a smooth bark. When Jim tries to open the door the log now is peeling textured bark with a noticeable cut in the center.
The amount of tape shown on the take-up reel is inconsistent. During a close-up of the spinning reels, there is far less tape on the right-hand reel than in the longer shots.
While Jim is at his desk screening potential members of the team, as he selects each member, he holds the dossier in his left hand as he reaches out, then, in the next shot, he places the dossier on the desk with his right hand.
When Rollin puts out the fire on the bed, he uses his left hand to pour the water. When the camera angle changes, he is using his right hand.
When Mr Hagar enters his bedroom the bed spread is neat; when Rollin forces him backwards toward the bed, the bed spread is unmade.
When Peter Graves and Hazel Court are driving in the Mercedes, the camera switches to the speedometer. The speedometer is that of a 1968 Mercury Park Lane, not a Mercedes.
At the end, despite being in a European country, they are driving on the left side of the road.
When Cinamon plugs the device into the wall socket to kill the electric power to the house she plugs in a device that has a two-pin American plug and she plugs it into an American socket. European plugs, and sockets have two round pins.
Oddly, no back projection has been added in any of the car scenes late in the episode. Both Phelps'and Hagar's car have only a plain screen behind them in all interior shots, despite extensive hill and wooded scenery being present in all exterior shots.
Toward the end when Barney is parked waiting in his truck for the Lincoln to drive down the highway, the front license plate on Barney's truck is from California. Later when stopped at the border checkpoint it changes to the correct European license plate.
Rollin has silencer on a revolver. Revolvers can't have silencers because the sound would come through the cylinder. Also no bullets can be seen in the cylinder.
The tape message says it will self-destruct in 10 seconds rather than the usual 5 seconds; however, it self-destructs in just over 5 seconds anyway.
During the opening sequence, as Jim approaches the work room to listen to the tape, a crew member can be seen in background in the alley sitting on the bed of a truck.
Just before Barney pulls his truck out in front of Mr. Hagar, you can see the reflection of a crew member wearing a blue shirt reflected in the window.
Barney and Rollin could not have picked up $2 million worth of platinum. Platinum, in 1967 was approximately $160 per troy oz. $2 million worth of platinum would weigh 857 pounds. However, the volume would be only about .64 cubic feet as a cubic foot of platinum is 1340 pounds. This would be a cube about 7.4 inches per side.
