The Spanish text in the telegram has some mistakes: "Financia" instead of "Finanzas", "Attención" instead of "Atención", "Senor" instead of "Señor", "El vuelo se va a llegar" instead of "El vuelo va a llegar".
Barney uses a special device to cut a circular hole out of the vault door. Before he starts cutting, the line he will be "cutting" around is clearly visible as a rough and slightly discolored area on the door. This is where the special effect material is hidden.
During the dossier scene, Phelps selects a legitimate firm named KDF International Auditing. But they are not included in the apartment briefing nor is it mentioned if they are privy to the ploy of the mission. Further, when Rollin and the three auditors from KDF meet with Pereda to begin work one accompanies Rollin, and the other two go off to another area and are not seen again. The auditor working with Rollin seemingly finishes quite speedily, delivers a ledger to him and apparently leaves.
The telegram is Mexican instead of from "Costa Mateo" (Telégrafos Nacionales Estados Unidos Mexicanos is its heading).
