Unlike most missions, both Rollin Hand, (Martin Landau), and Barney Collier, (Greg Morris), use their own names while on this assignment.
Unlike most episodes of the series, Barbara Bain and Peter Lupus' characters don't appear here.
As with Odds on Evil (1966), Dan Briggs, (Stephen Hill), sets up the mission, but does not go on it.
In the opening shot, when Briggs steps off the elevator, the display above the doors is the same one used in The Carriers (1966).
This episode, which takes a credulous position on the viability of seances, paranormal activity, communication with the dead, and haunted houses, guest stars actress Beatrice Straight. Straight made only infrequent appearances in motion pictures, but likely the most successful film in which she appeared was 1982's "Poltergeist" - which likewise openly accepted such notions.
