Murphy adds class to almost every inauguration.

Warning: Spoilers
She most likely skipped 2017, but in 1989, she was desperate to try to find her missing invitation. If it isn't her new secretary trying to do famous female characters from world theater, it's Murphy coming to terms with the fact that she was not invited. Miles has a crush on a network employee and invites her to the ball, so there are several jokes in regards to the difference in their heights. The fact that she works in his department is certainly questionable, but she seems to be interested in him in spite of his nervousness around her. Phil is revealed to pretty much know a little bit about everything going on in Washington, amusing considering a twist later in the series. Annabelle Gurwitch is memorable as the secretary, first doing Eliza Doolittle then later Maggie the cat. It may be six administrations later, but this episode is a classic.
