It's a national scandal when a president sits on a wasp.

Warning: Spoilers
After the end of sweeps week, FYI is ready for a timeout at Phil's and some downtime. Jim volunteers to take over the news break when Connie Chung is unavailable and at Murphy's prodding, begins laughing while describing the president's backside anxiety. Public reaction against Jim is not favorable and he decides to take time off, causing Murphy to reach out to him to apologize. When he tries to go on the air, he has another laughing fit, and after rushing off the set, goes to Phil's where he gets some very wise advice. The show keeps topping itself with situations that when you think the show can't get any better, it does, or at least never decreases in quality and wit and intelligence. The ending has a note of irony really works. I hope no one ever asks me to put together a list of the top 10 episodes of "Murphy Brown". Not even a wasp sting could make me figure out 10 episodes of excellence to choose above the hundred or so more of excellence.
