Surprising, top guest stars

My Mother The Car was not a good show, but this is a good episode. Top guest stars Lee Van Cleef (in a rare non-western role) and an early Charles "Chuck" Grodin are highlighted in a newlywed marriage on the rocks.

My Mother The Car was a decent show when it wasn't actually featuring the car. In one of the better episodes here, I suppose the car could be seen as a bit of whimsy. Obviously, the audience didn't take it that way. In this episode the car is only briefly featured and is incidental to the main plot. There are some good gags for a 1960s show, and no laugh track either. Seek this one out.
