Warning: Spoilers
When i saw the apartment I recognized it immediately. This episode was a funny tribute to Laverne & Shirley.

Fran and Val re-live "Wonderful Town".

Warning: Spoilers
It's best friends Fran and Val rather than My Sister Eileen in this very funny episode that has Fran, who should have known better, moving to the West Village and finding that there is a reason why all the men who live around her are single. "You should have known", she tells Val, "getting an apartment right across the street from the Judy Holliday Inn!" The landlord is David Lander, repeating his role as Squiggy from Laverne and Shirley, although he never says his name, only mentioning his longtime partner of 17 years, "Leonard". This could have been the start of a series of episodes showing Fran living away from the mansion and dealing with the more artistic life in Greenwich Village rather than the posh life in Midtown. Consistently funny, this has several laps per minute, a higher ratio than normal, and it's definitely a one worth revisiting.
