I don't know. By no means was this a bad episode, but it felt lackluster. I thought the plotline was decent and had the potential to be pretty good, except it seemed to fall short of my expectations. It is what it is, I guess.
But even though the case plotline was lackluster, this episode was still "important." It further developed the main storyline. So, because of that, I'm going to assume that the focus will be that in the next episode, including the finale, or maybe it'll only be the finale. It'll probably only be the finale.
Then again, when I accidentally started watching the season finale, back when I was at the beginning of the show/season, I remember it began with a recap of the previous episode. But maybe the penultimate episode will be like this one with a case plotline and some development (with the main storyline).
All of that said, I'm looking forward to the final two episodes of the season. I'm expecting both of them to be quite decent, or at least the finale. I feel like this season will probably end on a cliffhanger, so I guess my main interest is whatever that cliffhanger will be. I'll find out soon enough.

- So, this is Jimmy Palmer's first appearance. For some reason, I think I thought he'd shown up in a future season, maybe the second or third. But, no. He has "been there" from the beginning, or rather, the end of "the beginning." The first season, I mean. I'm guessing we'll soon get some resolution regarding Gerald, maybe that he decided to quit because of getting shot. And I find it funny how Ducky's previous assistant, who only showed up two episodes ago, is presumably gone forever.
- McGee is practically a member of the team now. He has shown up in the previous three episodes, and now this one. But it felt like he only showed up to continue that streak in this episode. Despite having played, and currently playing, an important part concerning the main storyline's development. I guess the writers figured it would be better to make him an actual member/to be incorporated more in each case plotline in the second season, so that's why he's only popping up momentarily.
- I didn't even know that the guy interviewed at the boxing area was Laz Alonso. I found that out after I finished watching the episode. For those of you who don't recognize his name, he's the actor who plays Mother's Milk in The Boys on Amazon Prime.
- Bellamy Young's guest star appearance was surprising. I only know her from Prodigal Son. I think most people would know her from Scandal, maybe. But I haven't seen that show yet. Besides that, her character was alright. She's certainly attractive, too, of course. She seems to exude somewhat of an alluring aura.
