- TriviaThis is the last episode of "NewsRadio (1995)" to feature Phil Hartman (Bill McNeal). Between Seasons 4 and 5, he was killed by his wife.
- GoofsEven though the desks slide across the floor to indicate the ship is tilting during sinking, none of the smaller items on other desks that would slide off, like pencils, move at all, indicating the desks were rigged to move across the floor.
- Quotes
Jimmy James: Fellas, I think, uh - despite what Joe says - the ship is sinking.
Dave: Yes - that's what I've been saying all along. What finally brought you around?
Jimmy James: Well, I think it's when Joe drowned.
- Crazy creditsAfter Phil Hartman's introduction, a Titanic-themed opening sequence plays: Irish music plays over sepia tone images of artifacts from the "wreck" of WNYX being cleaned, with the actors appearing as pictures on lockets.

I love the fact that this episode exists
Again, such a unique interesting idea, that not many other shows could get away with, or that could do it so well.
This show was not a typical sitcom, but at the same time was...and I think that was the issue. It was so unique that didn't fit into the cookie cutter type stuff back in the 90's.
Would have definitely found a home in today's world of smaller networks and Netflix etc. Though...still may have ended up being just a few seasons and then ended.
I gave this episode a 9, when really it's more like an 8...but I bumped it up 1 (which I almost never do) just because of it's enjoyability.
Man I really wish more people would leave reviews of these older shows. I'm disappointed when I check reviews and it says "Be the first to review".
