The Game Plan (#3.8)

Warning: Spoilers
It is time to apply for colleges. Seth and Summer both want into different sides of the country. Taylor suggests to Summer that their relationship won't survive and wants to go after Seth. But as she sees how upset Summer is she gives her an idea how to be close to Seth. Marissa feels she won't get into college. Johnny suggests her she may take time off, Ryan is mad and comes to his surfing contest to fight with Marissa. Johnny ends up being hit by a car. Marissa decides she should try to take a chance and Sandy's friend from Berkley overhears their conversation and suggests they both apply there. In the meantime Julie tells Kirsten about Charlotte and first Kirsten is mad that Julie wanted to participate but then she realizes that Julie didn't go through with the scam out of friendship to her and suggests being business partners.

This is more of a feel good episode than the most that have happened lately. And I actually liked it as well as the characters who usually annoy me. I felt bad for Marissa and Ryan and their worries about future. What they said was pretty moving.

Was also great to see the little twist in the friendship of Taylor and Summer. This could be fun if we get to see more Taylor now. Was cute how she suggested Summer to watch polish movies. As if!.

And it is nice how it went between Julie and Kirsten. Although now I wonder what will be the drama if they are all so happy together. Something has to happen, OC can't be just happy

Get over it Marissa!

Warning: Spoilers
Ryan, Summer, Seth, and Marissa think about what they'd like to do with their lives as they compile their college applications, but they run across several obstacles; Johnny's surfing career takes an unfortunate twist; a revealed secret complicates Julie's friendship with Kirsten.

I forgot to mention that Ryan is speaking actual phrases now. He's more into words, less into punching. Go Ryan! You should also go to college... And when did Ryan got a cell phone of his one? I know he's using one since the beginning of the third season, but it was never mentioned that the Cohens bought him one or so.

This is the episode when Summer and Taylor start being nice to each other. By the way, is it me, or Taylor changes her haircut in the middle of the episode? Johnny's accident was unexpected and sudden. I really feel bad for him, he didn't deserved such an unfortunate twist.

It was really fun to see how everybody left the table, one by one, at the dinner with Sandy's ex college colleague.
