This one has all the makings of a classic, it really is very, very funny. The new neighbours are great, and offered something very new, Tim Brooke Taylor as always the comedy professional.
The scenes at the holiday house are perhaps the funniest, it helps that Mr McVitie is of a nervous disposition, but the stuff surrounding the kidnap, Mr Swainey, are all super funny. As always the laugh out loud comedy is balanced by the sadder tone, that moment where we were made to think that Margaret...... I had chills.
That blend of sadness and comedy, as always works to perfection.
