Director Sutton Roley told burly Joe Don Baker (Billy Joe Corey) to push 19-year old Mike Cartel (George McBryde Jr.) hard into a stack of heavy Coke bottle crates on the last day of shooting. Baker apologized for having to get rough, wondering if a stunt man shouldn't be used instead. Cartel told Baker to go ahead and make it look as real as he could. Baker threw Cartel with enough force to make the bottle crates (and Cartel) go flying around the set. Roley wasn't satisfied, grips redressed the set and two more takes filmed before 'cut' and the wrap party were announced.
