Keith Partridge flunking sex education
kevinolzak24 March 2014
"Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Sex...But Couldn't Pronounce" sounds like a surefire laughfest, while it's really a serious episode about methods teachers use and how far they should go. Ramon Bieri (another ubiquitous television presence) plays Mr. Grisbee, who feels that Keith isn't giving his best and tells him he's failing sex education. Keith believes that his work compares favorably with other students, and that Grisbee simply doesn't like him. Shirley is no help (for a change), while Reuben worries that the group's summer tour will be canceled if Keith doesn't pass. Reuben gets the best line when he admits that he and Keith finally have something in common- Shirley: "Reuben, they didn't teach sex education when YOU went to high school!" Reuben: "yeah I know...but I flunked it anyway!" The featured song is "It Means I'm in Love with You," composed by Tony Romeo and Ralph Landis, from the soon to be released seventh LP CROSSWORD PUZZLE (previously heard in "Swiss Family Partridge").
