In the beginning, Dana & Sam are leaving in a car when machine gun fire hits the car. The shooter never runs out of ammo despite firing way more than 30 rounds and still keeps firing.
After Sam kills Nicky, his brother Andy picks him up. Since Nicky is dead, his body would be limp. Instead the actor playing Nicky has his arm around the neck of Andy to help distribute his weight as he's being carried off.
Though the episode takes place in 1973, the character's clothing and hair styles do not reflect the era and are closer to the styles when the episode was filmed.
The episode "Her Charm" is set in 1973. The FBI agent that Sam leaps into in this episode is wearing an LCD calculator watch. Digital watches in 1973 were LED and simply told time; calculator watches didn't exist until about ten years later.
Though this was set in the East, one of the highway paddle markers said "L A" on it (for LA County).
At 5:00, as the laundry truck drives onto the Massachusetts Turnpike, it is clearly the 4th Street Bridge near downtown Los Angeles. The Massachusetts Turnpike sign is also obviously on a temporary stand that is weighted down with something to hold it in place. The cars that drive by in the scene also have California plates.
