The money owing to the missing heir is $600,000. Marcus Hayes draws up a contract to get 40% of that, which would be $240,000, for himself for notifying the heir. But afterward he mentions $400,000 several times as the expected take. (Note: O'Herlihy wasn't aware of the inheritance amount. Apparently, the contract Hayes had drawn up would've given O'Herlihy $400,000, with Hayes acquiring the leftover $200,000 plus the 40%).
When Rockford's Firebird is shown pulling up along the red curb where Isaac Hayes lives, it is clearly a 1976 model (blinkers below the bumper inward towards the center). In the next scene, he is driving northbound on Pacific Coast Highway and you can clearly see that it is a 1975 model - turn signals in the grille next to the headlights.
Upon visiting Rocky in Jim's trailer, "Gabby" (Louis Gossett Jr.) identifies himself and asks Rocky if he remembers Gabby. Rocky does, saying that Gabby was Jim's parole officer. Earlier in the series, however, it was divulged that Jim was pardoned, therefore never had a parole officer.
When the LAPD cruiser pulls up to the bar with lights and sirens going, it is a 1973 AMC Matador with a Federal Twin Sonic light bar. It has both red & blue rotating lights. The 1973 Matadors still had the steady-burn red "can" lights on the roof (as on the Adam-12 series).
The square light bars with the red & blue lenses and rotating lights didn't appear for a few more years.
