• Officer Willie Gillis : [This is the scene in the hospital parking lot where the thugs, Mr Crater, Dude and JJ, are forcing Cal, Susan and Mr Fisher to walk with them at gunpoint. Officers Mike Danko, Willie Gillis and Terry Webster come on the run and begin chasing after them. Each officer pursues a thug and a melee breaks out. Several gunshots ring out and one of the thugs, JJ, is shot. Mike subdues Dude and Terry, standing on a parked car, takes a flying leap at Crater, who has a hold of Susan. She breaks away from Crater, screams and runs off. Mr Fisher's wheelchair starts to roll away and Willie catches him]  You all right, sir?

  Mr. Fisher : [Mr Fisher looks back at Mike and Terry subduing Dude and Crater]  Sure, sure.

  [Willie pushes Mr Fisher back to where the others are standing] 

  Cal Davis : [Cal walks over to his sister Susan; they embrace]  You ok?

  Susan Davis : [Susan, frightened, smiles shakily]  Yeah. You?

  Cal Davis : [Cal kisses Susan on the cheek]  It's all right.

  Officer Terry Webster : [Mike finishes handcuffing Dude and pulls him to his feet. Crater is now lying facedown on the pavement; Terry is straddling him and proceeds to handcuff him]  Easy, Crater, easy. 'Cuz this is one game I do know how to play

  [Terry is referring to the earlier pool game where he told Willie that pool is a game he knew nothing about and didn't know how to play. Terry's voice is flat and expressionless as he finishes handcuffing Crater and pulls him to his feet]
