The only part of this episode I liked was the fact that Alice, the once upon a time clumsy "student teacher" is now a protege to Pete's hapless student teacher who seems to feel that he has to be the students buddy as well as their educator and you can guess where that gets him. He learns his lesson in the end and wins the students respect but I certainly don't agree with Pete's philosophy that its all right to be your students friend if your their teacher, maybe I'm old fashioned but that can't be. There is the usual amusing subplots in this episode involving Mister Kaufman's messy desk and Alice getting the students to bury a time capsule.

Student teacher Arthur Billings longs for a chance to teach a class by himself.
A good show for Season 5. Todd Sussman plays Mr Billings, his third appearance on the show, he previously played students the last 2 times. When Pete gets the flu, Mr Kaufman gives him the class. He had tried to be friends with the kids before but they don't respect his authority. There is a funny scenes as he is pelted with paper airplanes and the whole class fake a coughing fit.
