Uncle Woody regains his senses
kevinolzak9 December 2016
"Divorce, Sanford Style" finds Aunt Esther in need of a shot of booze after a falling out with Uncle Woody (Raymond Allen, second of nine), about his penchant for looking at other women. Fred literally accepts the phrase 'till death do us part': "you know what I think of that? Kill her!" Fred encourages him to keep looking but regrets it after Esther moves into Lamont's room: "I can see my tombstone - Fred Sanford lies here, died from an overdose of ugly!" Morning coffee with her is enough to crinkle his newspaper! Officer Hoppy concludes that the divorce may take six months, so Fred resorts to underhanded tactics: "I'm getting' these two lovebirds together so I can get that buzzard out of my house!"
