In a letter he received, Lamont's Uncle George died and left an inheritance of $7000. However, to obtain it, he must meet and marry a girl, and she must give birth to a son to be named after George, all within a 12 month span. Otherwise, the $7000 would be donated to charity. Fred is determined to get the inheritance money, and so plays matchmaker with a computer dating service. Lamont, who isn't interested in such a stipulation, tries to get his friend, Janet, to pose as the match. However, the real girl, named Nora Simpson, arrives earlier than expected, and is not only a white girl, but has a very annoying, high-pitched voice. Ultimately, the whole matchmaker thing doesn't work out...and for the better. Not only were the stipulations for the inheritance difficult, if not impossible, to achieve, the wedding and medical bills would've squandered almost all of the money.
