Twilight Zone Skit
blh24541-368-7591628 November 2014
Warning: Spoilers
This skit is one of top skits ever on SNL. Ricky Nelson is lost in the Twilight Zone, in black & white. Ricky visits the Cleaver household trying to get home, John Belushi is the Beaver, Bill Murray is Eddie Haskell. He then arrives at the Anderson home (Father Knows Best), he leaves there and is in the Danny Thomas home, (Make Room for Daddy) Garrett Morris is funny as the maid in that one, then he arrives at the Riccardo residence. Gilda Radner portrays Lucy to perfection. Dan Aykroyd adds his narration throughout as Rod Serling. This is one of the top 5 skits ever on SNL. Rick Nelson adds several of his best known hits as well. "Hello Mary Lou" at the front end and later "Travelin' Man" also "Fools Rush In". A lot of people have forgotten what a big rock star he was in the 50s and 60s. This show aired in 1979. Rick passed away New Year's Eve 1985 in a plane crash on his way to a musical performance.

Ricky Nelson enters The Twilight Zone
michaellax14 June 2007
The summary is incorrect: Ricky does not go to "My Three Sons." First, he enters "Leave It to Beaver," then he goes to "Father Knows Best" and finally he does hear the call of "is that you Ricky?" But it is from Lucy (Gilda) as he has gone to the Ricardo residence on "I Love Lucy."
