"Match Unto My Feet" was another very good ep of "SCTV"

Warning: Spoilers
Another very good ep of "SCTV" begins with The Flying Nun (Andrea Martin) at Pearl Harbor before recruiting other nuns (many of whom are played by the male cast members) as they fly in "Baa, Baa, Black, and White Sheep", a promo. The "Sunrise Semester" is hosted by a Dr. Cheryl Kinsey (Martin) telling the women watching how to fake orgasm. Another promo about unusual goings-ons is another funny one. Then a talk show sketch in which John Candy is interviewing Joan of Arc or an actress playing one. She's played by Brenda Donohue who also appears as a Jewish mother threatening some offscreen kids when a Catholic priest (Joe Flaherty) visits a Jewish family for his TV show. This marked the first appearance by Eugene Levy as Sid Dithers though his first name here is Morris. Both Levy and Flaherty once again play newscasters Earl Camembert and Floyd Robertson with Earl once again embarrassing himself when he reveals he missed the earthquake in California because the car broke down in Arizona! Harold Ramis does a spot about how you know you're dead then announces another one with Dave Thomas showing how to microwave some meat in 3 seconds! Andrea Martin does a promo for "AC/DC" in which she's a good wife but also a serial dater of the same sex! Finally, Flaherty's priest does his "Words to Live By" segment on maintaining a sense of humor. Overall, this was another funny early ep of "SCTV".
