The tensions keep rising in this amazing episode!

Warning: Spoilers
Tavon is finally back and I'm glad he actually remembers almost everything. I thought it would be too convenient and a missed opportunity for them not to do much with him, but it seems like we're gonna get a big confrontation.

The way the plot with the Armenians is unfolding is just so riveting. Glad to see Margos coming back since he was introduced in season 1. Both the police force and the strike force investigating the Armenians for different reasons, trying to stay away from each other, and saving themselves from the money train heist is so intense. It was awesome how they had to hide the body to keep their story going. Dutch suspecting Vic adds even more tension. I love the giant consequences for this are still happening. That was definitely foreshadowed by the awesome final shot of Season 2. The team becoming rocky and fighting in on themselves is incredibly interesting as we see all the characters in different lights. And of course it adds to the tension. Lem is getting really fired up, and I could see him maybe leaving the team or going against them. This is getting insane, and I think there's gonna be huge changes coming. I'm just so enthralled by everything going on.

The other main plot for the episode was really good too of course. I liked the return of Claudette's old team even though it hasn't been that long since they left. Seeing Claudette going undercover was really entertaining, and I'm loving how much more development the side characters have been getting. Honestly in the first season and most of season 2 I thought a lot of the side characters were underdeveloped, and while I'd still like a little more development for some, this season has delivered with that aspect. However, Ronnie, while he has gotten more time now, is still severely underdeveloped for being part of the strike team.

Vic's family life is getting a lot more interesting and engaging now. When Vic's wife suggested to put their son away it was heart breaking. It's pretty painful to see the struggles to raise a kid like this, and a lot of families probably can relate, even just with the divorce and financial side. I hope this subplot continues to stay interesting because it was loosing me at times but it's got me back on board. However, Vic's other relationship feels kind of pointless compared to everything else. I actually like the scenes between them, it's pretty cute, but I feel like it won't really lead to anything substantial.

On a side note Taylor trying to get together with Danni is a lot of fun. I'm glad a show this dark, serious, and real still has time for humor. Also I didn't mention this before but I appreciate how well the racial tensions are being handled in this show. The way some people forced a race war to benefit themselves, or how a politician was letting a criminal get away to make their race look better was brilliant.

This is just some great set up for the final 2 episodes which seem like they're really gonna deliver. I'm extremely excited to watch the last 2 episodes. I've heard some criticism for this season about its length and pacing, I do get some people not enjoying it as much since the season is longer, and I do think it could be even better if it was a little tighter overall, but honestly I think they missed a lot of greatness too. After watching almost the entire season I just have to say, WOW, this is seriously amazing TV. Almost all the episodes have been very great, only weaker episodes were the first 2, which I actually wanted to review but I didn't really have much to say about. Compared to the amazing start of season 2 I was a bit disappointed, but nope, the rest of the season developed and improved tenfold. That ending when they realize the Armenians know the truth is such a good finisher.

As far as I'm concerned they ruined the franchise in this episode by losing the money. Boo!
