A blowhard banker's tomboy daughter upends her family and community by trying out for the high school football team.
Banker Howard Carroll, who love the sound of his voice, gives a speech at the high school saying women shouldn't play sports because it's unfeminine. This rubs his daughter, Ginger, the wrong way, so she goes out for the football team. Ginger's boyfriend and the school principal are up in arms, but Howard's delighted after his daughter runs in a touchdown.—Jay Phelps <jaynashvil@aol.com>
