Only just watched this episode for the first time today and I thought it was quality. Post season 10 gets a lot of stick but this is a strong episode for me. Plenty of jokes throughout and a decent story like.

On Any Day, I Can't Bear to See This Episode!

Warning: Spoilers
The school goes on a field trip to a glacier (which suffered the effects of climate change). While there, Bart decides to pull a few admittedly pretty annoying pranks on Lisa, who gets angry enough to file a restraining order on him.
First of all, you can't file a restraining order against your own family member, especially if you're still a child. Second of all, Lisa uses it as an excuse to torture Bart, which may I add is ILLEGAL and will result in the order getting revoked. Yet absolutely nobody seems to care, and Lisa prods him with a screwdriver (which Homer stupidly put on the end) just to spite him. Hell, he can't even be in the school with her, and Groundskeeper Willie is his new teacher.
Then the order gets extended, to the point that Bart is forced to live outside with the wolves. And then Marge asks Lisa to remember the nice things Bart has done for her. But wait, remember episodes like "Round Springfield" or "Stark Raving Dad"? Oh yeah, apparently those didn't happen.
And then there's the pretty rushed, half-assed ending, where Lisa sees a statue (which Bart was intending to burn; I don't blame him) of her that Bart made and forgives him. And then the family plays music together.
In general, this episode suffers an atrocious A-plot, a forgettable B-plot, massive out-of-character moments, and an overall mean-spirited tone. We were supposed to side with Lisa, but this is her at her absolute lowest.

Worst. Episode. Ever.

This episode is just cruel to Bart for no reason! Sure Boys of Bummer was too, but it at least had an interesting side plot. This episode rewrites the series to make it seem like Bart has never done anything nice for Lisa just so the writers can have a ball thinking of ways to torture Bart. To sum it all up, I'd rather watch Disaster Movie.
Awfully terrible

Warning: Spoilers
Bart may be a brat, but a restraint order ordered by Lisa against him? That's too much. This is one of the cases in which Lisa is the evil brat and Bart is the unfortunate victim. Worst episode ever. Worst episode of Season 16.
A terrible episode that showcases the worse of Lisa Simpson
zachscutt19 May 2020
The episode is mean-spirited for no real reason, has terrible continuity (Bart's been nice to Lisa plenty of time), and further exemplifies why Lisa Simpson is honestly the worst character on the show during Al Jean's run on the show. Skip it and don't bother with it.
My least favourite episode

This episode making an early (good) episode non canon?

So... what? Is this episode seriously trying to confirm that the earlier season 3 episode Separate Vocations is non canon (or meaningless at best)? What sort of mockery is this? Separate Vocations was a really good episode of The Simpsons, and sadly Bart's gesture in Separate Vocations has been completely forgotten about in this episode. What a load of bull.
It's garbage and mega forgettable.

A torture episode of Bart Simpson because of Lisa was acting like a mary sue just like Belle ( Belle's Magical World) she needs an order of restriction for doing that to her brother i checked that on miraheze and she was also in her worst moment in the episode Bart Vs Itchy And Scratchy.
