I Want Those Seven Weeks Back
claudio_carvalho12 May 2006
After leaving an article full of denunciations about the "Summerholt Neurological Institute" with his former colleague of the Daily Planet, Max Taylor (Jim Thorburn), Chloe Sullivan is chased by Clark Kent's truck trying to kill her. He claims that he had received an e-mail just before his action. Later, Lana Lang also receives an e-mail from the same address and tries to kill Chloe, who is saved by Adam Knight. They investigate the origin, and reaches Molly Griggs (Missy Peregrym), a former patient of the unethical Dr. Garner (Martin Cummins), who uses her abilities to force people to kill through a hypnotic suggestion in her e-mails. Adam moves to Smallville to be close to Lana.

"Delete" is a good episode of "Smallville", with an excellent conclusion, when Lex blackmails Dr. Garner to get the seven weeks deleted from his memory back. It seems that Lana Lang will fortunately have a romance with Adam, which will certainly improve the boring relationship with Clark Kent shown in the last episodes. My vote is nine.

3x11 - Rewatch (Chole-centric)

Plot:

Someone wants to off Chloe Sullivan & we find out that it is not Lionel Luthor, but Molly Griggs. Molly is in love with her boss & he goes to her when someone tries to ruin his name.

Name drop of my girl LOIS LANE... It made me second guess whether or not she made her appearance earlier than season 4. I wanted to jump to season 4 even faster than I already do because Erica Durance presence as Lois Lane made Smallville better.

Clark needs to stop with his jealous ass. Let Damon... I mean Adam alone. Adam should have left Smallville when he had the chance. He does not even know what is heading his way.

I am realizing that Clark, Chloe & Lana go to Lex with so many of their problems & then they treat him with no trust. Users.

Also, Clark is one bold mf & he goes up against everyone head on. I like it, but sometimes... most times... he does not use his head.

Has Chloe gone in over her head?

Warning: Spoilers
Chloe's research of the neurological institute Summerholt places her in dangerous waters in "Delete."

Chloe is leaving the Daily Planet, but not quietly. She tells co-worker Max Taylor of a research article she had been working on to expose the atrocious experiments of Dr. Garner and others at Summerholt. In events that follow, Chloe finds herself struggling to avoid being murdered- by Clark, Lana, and the Kent parents! She tells Clark about her Summerholt research, and she with Clark discovers that a woman named Molly is using her hypnotic ability to tell others to kill Chloe via e-mail. Molly was a patient at Summerholt, whose neurological functions were improved thanks to Dr. Garner's illegal experiments.

This episode is slightly strange involving the hypnotic e-mail angle, but is intriguing at episodes' end, when Lex uses Chloe's article to threaten to expose Dr. Garner unless Dr. Garner helps Lex regain the seven weeks of lost memory that was deleted by the electroshock therapy.
