High school never ends?
Rcwilkinson12327 December 2007
A meteor-infected senior of Smallville High School literally wants to keep high school from ending in an episode that contains a less-than-strong sub-plot but a much more intriguing season story arc.

This senior has the ability to freeze others with his touch, captivating them in a sort of mannequin-like state. His captives include Chloe, Lois, and then Lana. Meanwhile, the Teagues have captured the Luthors, and Genevieve is trying to pry information out of Lionel regarding the location of one of the three power stones. This results in a terrific chase between the Luthors and Jason in the Smallville forest.

This episode is less-than-stellar when regarding the storyline from the episode, but the continuous quest for the uniting of the three stones reaches a climactic point.

Oedipus Complex
claudio_carvalho9 July 2006
On the last day of the Smallville High, the frustrated photographer of the Torch, Brendan Nash (Steven Grayhm), feels rejected by the Universities and decides to abduct some schoolmates to stay with him forever in a replica of the school. He uses his power of Medusa Touch and brings Lana Lang, Chloe Sullivan and other successful mates to the place. Meanwhile, Genevieve and Jason Teague kidnap Lionel and Lex Luthor trying to retrieve the stone Lionel took of them.

"Forever" is one of the best episodes of the Fourth Season of Smallville. The villain Jason does not hesitate to jeopardize the safety of Lana due to his Oedipus complex for his dominating evil mother. He deserved the sad end in the waterfalls. I only do not understand how the writer of this series does not give much care to the support characters, like for example, Haley Timmonds: she dies, killed by Brendan, and when Lana and Chloe are safe with Clark in the end of the episode, none of them is sad for the death of their schoolmate. In spite of this serious flaw in the screenplay, my vote is ten.

Title (Brazil): "Eterno" ("Eternal")
