Episode 19 begins with E.Ronald Mallu desperately trying to find decent character witnesses for Jessica amongst the Tates and Campbells.Upon meeting Al Capone(Danny),Tinkerbell(Jodie),Punch and Judy(Chuck and Bob),and The Invisible Man(Burt),Mallu offers his sympathies to Mary before settling on the always reliable Benson.Mary tells Dr.Medlow,Burt's psychiatrist, that Burt thinks he's invisible, and the doctor helps her place him into a neuropsychological institute.Jessica hopes to bring Corinne home via a heartfelt conversation about how she couldn't tell her she'd been adopted because she was afraid of losing her; but the wicked Ingrid Svenson convinces Corinne that Jessica was told to do it in order to prevent Corinne from testifying against her mother in court.Congressman McCallam shows Eunice the compromising photos involving the two,but is surprised by the unexpected arrival of his wife Marilyn, driving poor Eunice out on a ledge,38 floors up,in the rain.

Incredibly funny.

Jessica's attorney Ronald Mallu is determined to find good character references for her among the family, but he discovers a few problems when be starts to talk to The Tate's and Campbells.

Any criticisms I've made previously, forget them, this was side splitting, one of the funniest episodes from the first series.

Burt is side splitting here, his powers of invisibility make for some wonderful scenes, but the standout moment is of course that scene where Mallu starts chatting with the family members, it is belly laugh out loud funny. Burt and Mary's counselling session is also a side splitting scene.

Another sweet scene between Jessica and Corrine, it's a gorgeous, sincere scene.

Eugene Roche is a scream, a brilliant performance, the looks of sheer bewilderment are something else.

This one's a riot from the start, a few times you can see the cast holding back the laughs.

9/10.
