There are several issues at work here, as happens with an ensemble cast. The one most striking is a young family who are having a baby. It focuses on the turmoil caused when the two of them find that their new son has Down's syndrome. We also have a woman dying alone. She has spirit. Well done episode pushing the usual happy ending scenario.
