- Ellen Craig: [baby Pete woke up in the middle of the night] Oh, Pete, you were just lonely in there weren't you?
- [she sets Pete in the middle of their bed, next to her husband]
- Ellen Craig: Here, honey, say hello to your uncle Mark. There we go. Yeah.
- Dr. Mark Craig: You're just gonna leave him sitting there?
- Ellen Craig: Uh, tell him a story. Try "Goldilocks".
- Dr. Mark Craig: That's not funny, Ellen.
- [pauses a beat]
- Dr. Mark Craig: Is that the one with the wolf?
- Ellen Craig: No, the three bears.
- Dr. Mark Craig: My mother didn't raise me to be a raconteur.
- [Thinks for a beat]
- Dr. Mark Craig: Um... Once upon a time...
- Ellen Craig: Oh, that's a nice kickoff!
- [she rolls over and turns off the light]
- Dr. Mark Craig: ... three bears went into a house. There was the baby bear, and the father bear, and the mother bear, who was no help at all.
- Ellen Craig: Good night.
- Dr. Mark Craig: And the father bear said, please baby bear, don't cry any more. I have to perform bypass surgery in the morning.
