- A large asteroid is discovered on a collision course with Earth.
- A large asteroid is discovered on a heading straight towards Earth. If it hits, all life on Earth would likely be destroyed. SG-1 initiates a plan to repair a crashed Goa'uld cargo ship and deliver a Naquadah bomb to destroy the asteroid before it hits.—trekkie4christ
- After an amateur astronomer discovers a 137 kms long asteroid on a path to strike Earth, SG-1 is tasked to find a way to destroy it before it hits in 11 days time. O'Neill seeks the assistance of the Asgard but the protected planets treaty forbids intervening in the case of natural disasters. They decide to try and change the asteroid's path using a nuclear device but to get there in time, they will first have to repair the Goa'uld cargo ship Daniel and Jacob Carter crashed on the Tok'ra world. When they finally arrive at the asteroid the cargo ship malfunctions and they realize that they've been had by the Goa'uld. Carter comes up with a way to ensure the asteroid doesn't hit Earth but it means they may not survive.—garykmcd
- When a civilian finds a large asteroid en route to collide with Earth, the SG-1 concludes that life will be destroyed with the impact. The SGC tries unsuccessfully to contact the Tok'ra and the Asgard seeking help. Sam suggests to repair the Goa'uld ship that crashed on Ravenna and use a Naquadah bomb to change the route of the asteroid. When they are ready to explode the asteroid, they make a discovery that will change their decision.—Claudio Carvalho, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
- After an amateur astronomer discovers a rogue asteroid on a collision course with Earth, where its impact will exterminate all life in 11 days, the Asgard decline assistance with such natural disaster, bound by an intergalactic protection treaty. As last hope, SG-1 and a couple of engineers repair the hyper-driven cargo-ship that crashed on Revanna and head back to place nuclear charges. Just before they reach the asteroid,a problem with one of the engines complicates landing on the asteroid, but after Teal'c and O'Neill place the naquadah enhanced nuclear weapon, Carter discovers that the core of the asteroid is largely composed of naquadah, so exploding the nuke would destroy Earth. They must use the ship's hyperspace engines to transfer the asteroid to the other side of earth instead.—KGF Vissers
