- Following on a Tok'ra tip, SG-1 goes to a planet where they find the hated Apophis, nearly dying and under attack by death-gliders. They get back with him, realizing he was tortured by a rival system-lord with lasting harm. Apophis demands sanctuary, provided Dr. Fraiser can save his life, at least on account of the human host, but without a sarcophagus the prognosis for his symbiont is lousy; he offers all his Goa'uld knowledge in exchange for a new host, i.e. his life, revealing he was defeated by the terrible Sokar, once supreme system lord till an alliance lead by Ra and Apophis unseated him. The confrontation with Daniel, on account of Amaunet/Sha're and their son Klorel, and with former prime Teal'c, is bitter for all three. The Tok'ra send Martouf to warn the Tau'ri must hand over Apophis, but their warning is ignored- until Sokar proves he can bombard the iris with accelerated particles and ultimately cut through it, so the White House orders his extradition, but before they can he dies, unlike his host, an Ancient Egyptian temple scribe of Amun.—KGF Vissers
- SG-1 goes to meet the Tok'ra, but whilst they are waiting next to a stargate, a Death Glider crashes. It's Apophis, dying and offering to share the knowledge of the Goa'uld if they help him back to Earth. The Goa'uld Sokar, who hunts Apophis, knows where he has gone and attacks the SGC through the stargate.—Anonymous
- The SG-1 team travels to coordinates sent to them but they don't quite know who sent the message or why they are there. Attack ships soon fill the sky and a craft being chased crashes and reveals a lone passenger: Apophis. They transport him back to Stargate Command where Dr. Fraiser determines that Apophis has been repeatedly and severely tortured. Martouf of the Tok'ra soon arrives and informs them that Apophis has lost a battle with Sokar, who will go to any length to have his enemy returned to him. When Sokar launches an attack through the gate, SGC has little time to decide before they break through the protective iris.—garykmcd
- The SG-1 believes that has been contacted by the Tok'ra and the team goes to a desert planet. Out of the blue, a spacecraft crashes on the sand and the pilot is Apophis that demands sanctuary. The group brings him to Earth and Dr. Janet Fraiser tells that he is terminal. Further, Samantha realizes that he was brutally tortured by his enemy Sokar. Apophis offers his knowledge provided he gets a new host but the SGC refuses the proposal. Meanwhile Martouf arrives on Earth and advises the SG-1 and General Hammond to deliver Apophis to Sokar, but his proposal is not accepted. But soon Sokar demands Apophis and attacks the Iris that protected the access to the SGC. Will the Iris and the SGC resist to the attack?—Claudio Carvalho, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
- While investigating a planet who's address was sent to the SGC over a radio transmission, SG-1 discovers a gravely injured Apophis (Peter Williams) fleeing for his life after being defeated by a rival System Lord. Apophis demands sanctuary at the SGC in exchange for the knowledge of the Goa'uld.
