- Daniel Jackson discovers that the Stargate was activated in 1945 and a young professor went through, never to return. Together with his still living fiancée, the SG1 team discover the now aged professor, naked and trapped in a decaying fortress, containing the secrets of an Ancient alliance. Will they be able to rescue him and escape to earth in time?—Anonymous
- After seeing military recordings of experiments in 1945 with a working Stargate, Daniel visits old scientist Catherine Langford, who discussed theory with her father and her fiancé, key researcher Ernest Littlefield, but never knew that the Stargate worked once, concluding now that must have been his fatal accident. Daniel brings her to the SGC and gets permission to take her along to the planet Ernst went to, checking to see if he's alive, and because it's close to Abydos but apparently never visited by the Goa'uld. Ernst is there, naked, trapped for 50 years all alone in a castle he identified as Egyptian Heliopolis, a Ra cult-center. Alas, the Stargate dial is broken, so they are all stranded unless Sam can repair it. Meanwhile, Ernst shows a holographic 'library' left by the 'four races' in a universal language based on the 146 elements of matter. Then a terrible storm makes things even worse.—KGF Vissers
- When reviewing old Pentagon files, Daniel Jackson comes across evidence that the military had conducted gate experiments in 1945 and someone went through it. Jackson visits Catherine Langford, whose father discovered the gate, and learns that the man who went through the gate was her fiancé Ernest Littlefield, who worked for her father. She was told by her father that Littlefield died in a lab explosion. They travel to the planet in question, with Catherine going along, and find Littlefield still alive but with a surprising reaction in their first meeting. Littlefield has been living in a crumbling medieval-like castle where there is evidence of place where four distinct alien races would meet. Their return home however is made more complicated by the fact that the dial home device isn't working.—garykmcd
- The Stargate Command (SGC) receives classified information from the Pentagon and Daniel learns that the Stargate was manually activated in 1945. Further, Professor Ernest Littlefield crossed the Stargate and has gone missing. The SG-1 and Ernest's fiancée Catherine convince General Hammond to let them go to the same coordinates to seek out Ernest. They find him alive and alone in a decayed castle and he shows to Daniel information from four alien races about the Universe. However the castle is collapsing under a storm and the Stargate is not working, and Sam and Teal'c need to get power to activate the Stargate.—Claudio Carvalho, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
