- The hive ship approaching Atlantis is Michael's. He wants a trade: the retrovirus for not revealing the secret of Atlantis and insights on Wraith technology.
- Atlantis is anxiously awaiting the arrival of the lone hive ship heading for the city. The Athosians have been relocated to the cloaked city and the Daedalus and the Orion are ready to assist if necessary. Weir hopes the ship is just checking and the cloak's still sufficient, but there seems to be no hiding. The Wraith transmit an audio signal. It's a message from Michael and he tells they mean no harm. In fact they are here to negotiate a treaty. Since the awakening of all Wraith there's a famine and civil war has broken out. Michael wants Atlantis to work with them in weaponizing the retrovirus, which they will use to attack other Wraith factions to use them as a food source. In return they will not tell anyone Atlantis still exists and enlighten them on every aspect of Wraith technology.—Arnoud Tiele (imdb@tiele.nl)
- The lone Wraith hive ship arrives and to everyone's surprise, Michael Kenmore, still a Wraith, has a proposal for Dr. Weir and the other residents of Atlantis. He tells them that a food shortage has resulted from the early awakening of the Wraith leading to a civil war. He wants Dr. Beckett's retrovirus to turn their enemy Wraith to humans, giving them a source of food. In return, The Wraith will give them access to information on Wraith weapons and technology. Although at first leery of the proposition, the Wraith seem to be keeping their side of the bargain. With McKay and Ronon Dex on board the hive ship, their true intentions and their ultimate target is revealed.—garykmcd
- Atlantis feared the approach of a Wraith hive ship, so is stunned when hailed by it hence has the Daedalus answer as precaution. It turns out to be commanded by Michael, the fled retrovirus-test-case. He says the failure to find enough feeding grounds, Earth remaining elusive, causes such starvation as too many Wraith were awoken, that civil war broke out. He offers to keep Atlantis secret and safe, even Wraith reveal technology, if given the retro-virus, so he can attempt to render his opposite party weak and edible. Sheppard prevails calling that too goo to be refuse, hopefully - not to be true, never minds the ethical dilemma of cannibalizing humanized enemies. So Becket hastily finishes the test program, with awkward Wraith help, the Daedalus helps launch it, but once Ronon and Mackay are aboard, treason strikes.—KGF Vissers
- Michael and his Wraith faction arrive at Atlantis to propose an alliance, hoping to use the retrovirus to transform their Wraith enemies into prey. But can they be trusted?
