- McKay and Zelenka come up with a plan to repair the Ancients' weapon satellite. Bates and Teyla get into a fight. He is found unconscious and badly injured shortly afterwards.
- Teyla has found out the Wraith armada will pass the lagrangian point satellite, the Ancient weapons platform. McKay and Zelenka think it can be repaired and powered up by using a single naquadah generator. McKay, Grodin and pilot Miller take a puddle jumper to fix it. Meanwhile Sheppard's away team is ordered to find an alternate evacuation site. Sergeant Bates has a problem with Teyla. He constantly tries to convince people it's not a good idea to take her along. He fears she will give away the location to the Wraith. A while after a heated argument between him and Teyla, Bates is found unconscious. Zelenka, meanwhile, makes a unpleasant discovery. He tells Weir the city's self destruction plan is not good enough. He's convinced that the Wraith will be able to construct an intergalactic ship with information from the remains of the Ancient database.—Arnoud Tiele (imdb@tiele.nl)
- Zelenka must stay behind while McKay leads Peter Grodin and jumper pilot Miller to attempt repairing the Ancient weapons platform on the Lagrangian point satellite, where Teyla predicts the Wraith armada will arrive within lethal reach. The job proves dangerous and hard, so Peter volunteers to stay behind and operate it hoping to be picked up after victory. The first Wraith mothership is destroyed, but the weapon can't be reactivated and the satellite explodes, with Grodin. Meanwhile Zelenka and Becket work out proof of a Wraith saboteur in Atlantis, which is caught by Sheppard's team, just before he can kill the major, who questions 'Bob' hard to talk, to no avail. Weir wrestles whether to let Zelenka destroy the entire Ancient database to prevent it falling in Wraith hands, not or backup at least part of the priceless know-how, retaining major risk, which Athosian Halling considers their sacred duty as the Ancients' heirs.—KGF Vissers
- With the Wraith hive ships approaching Atlantis, Dr. McKay proposes reactivating the Ancients defense satellites as a means of repelling them. He sets off with a team to see what can be done but the damage is such that the satellite may not be repairable. The back-up plan is destroy the city and to find a planet everyone can jump to. Dr. Zelenka is concerned however that if even a small piece of the city remains, the Wraith will be able to re-build the whole. To be successful, they will have to destroy the Ancients' database. Sgt. Bates meanwhile is convinced that Tayla's connection to the Wraith endangers them all and that she cannot be trusted. He is soon found unconscious and while no one thinks she would have consciously attacked him, they are concerned that she may again be having blackouts.—garykmcd
- With 3 Wraith hive ships on the way to Atlantis, the team searches for a place to flee and a way to destroy the city to prevent it faling into Wraith hands. McKay leads a team to try and activate the Ancients' orbital weapons platform to take out the impending threat.
