Not Suite Life's Best
recklessPronto17 September 2006
Warning: Spoilers
Even though I love The Suite Life, this was one of my least favorites so far. First we see Zack and Cody with brand new love interests (surprise) in the midst of auditions for A Midsummer's Night Dream at school. Right in the beginning we see Cody about to kiss his girlfriend, Gwen. It seems like the boys have been kissing a lot in the series just for the sake of kissing, and so i was not shocked by this. Of course, Zack also has a crush on a girl named Vanessa. Once the scene ended, Bob had two random and unnecessary lines. Even though I love Bob, I don't want to see his character reduced to a walking one-liner.

Back at the Tipton we see London returning from the Tokyo Tipton, with plans to rearrange the hotel lobby according to Fung-Shui. This idea seemed like a good premise for the episode, but didn't quite live up to expectations. The crazy setting upstaged the characters and everyone seemed awfully uncomfortable. This may have been intended, but it just was difficult too watch them be so unsure of themselves. Luckily there was some humor that made up for this.

Back at school, Zack and Cody are having love troubles. After an unbearably long kiss between Zack and Gwen, Gwen dumps Cody for Zack. Vanessa falls for Cody who still likes Gwen, and Zack is angry with this since he still likes Vanessa. An obvious play on A Midsummer's Night Dream (which is mentioned later by Cody) but since these are 13 year old kids in middle school, the whole idea seemed a little...too old for them. During the performance, Gwen, Vanessa, Zack, Cody, and even Agnes end up getting into a fight with each other over 'who-loves-who.' This whole scene was a little wishy-washy, the lines were pretty random, and the fight was just plain weird.

Luckily, there were three girls in this episode i was impressed with. Gage Golightly played Vanessa, someone who is not just a generic beauty like most girls on TV today. Selena's acting was very believable, and the scene between her and Agnes was hilarious. That brings me to Allie Grant. This was her best acting by far on the Suite Life, and she was one of the only characters who was able to make me laugh out loud. She definitely helped this episode! Overall, I give this episode a 6 out of ten. Despite its awkward plot and the discomfort i experienced while watching it, the acting was awesome as usual and that alone made me enjoy this.

School play
abbyisurgrl14 June 2006
Warning: Spoilers
Zack and Cody's school is hosting a play. Cody and his new girlfriend Gwen try out for the starring roles where the couple shares a kiss, but Gwen gets the part and so does Zack which makes Cody extremely jealous. Vannessa likes Cody Cody likes Gwen. Gwen likes Zack but Zack likes Vannessa. Agnes likes Zack and Cody, no one likes Agnes. London has a crisis on her hands....she got nominated for the WORST fashion list.Maddie decides on helping her calm down and get to the BEST fashion list.It doesn't end up working though....since she ends up being number one on the worst fashion list. There is a Tipton in Tokyo which is decorated according to the principles of Fung Shui.

Zack and Cody try out for a play while London tries a Japanese approach to the lobby

Warning: Spoilers
I really liked this episode. It wasn't too funny but it had very good acting. What happens is that Zack and Cody try out for "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and Cody who is supposed to get the role of Lysander because his girlfriend, Gwen, is Hermia and he wants to kiss her gets the role of Bottom. Zack gets the role of Lysander and when he kisses Gwen, his crush, Vanessa falls for Cody. Meanwhile, London tries a Japanese approach to the Tipton's lobby which makes Maddie find $100, Esteban's Uncle find oil in his ranch, and Moseby get a "foreign vehicle" but when London's yacht sinks, she switches something which makes her get a new jet, a spot on the Best Dressed list, but Esteban's Uncle's oil turns out to be from a Tipton pipeline so his ranch is taken over by the Tipton Hotels Corporation, Maddie's $100 bill turns out to be counterfeit and Moseby's "Foreign Vehicle" turns out to be an Italian bike. In the end, the Hotel Lobby is switched back to normal and both Gwen and Vanessa hate Zack.

Not My Favorite

I really didn't like this episode. It was okay at first when I saw a sneak peek in July 2006 but now it's annoying.

I think the three girls in the episode were the best.

Gage Golightly- Vanessa Selena Gomez- Gwen (haven't seen her in a while) Allie Grant- (Agnes)

Selena hasn't been in anything for a while and seeing her on TSL was a treat. She's a very cool person and very pretty.

Seeing Gage Golightly was also a treat. Her acting wasn't the best like it was when she was younger but she did a good job. Also very pretty too.

Allie Grant is a recurring character but is very talented and pretty. She did an excellent job in this episode.
