- Michael meets Brooke's mother Carolyn (Morgan Fairchild), with instant antagonism. Earlier when Carolyn entered Point Place, Kelso yelled at her at a red light for waiting too long after it turned green. Carolyn argues that it is common courtesy to wait for 30 seconds before honking. Carolyn intends to take Brooke home to Chicago while he's in police academy. Carolyn wants Brooke to away from Kelso and this is her away to get them separated temporarily to begin with. Carolyn argues that she has an extra bedroom, a backyard and she loves Brooke. Kelso agrees for six months as he won't have the time to take care of Brooke or the baby.
Eric wakes up, Donna leaving him was just a nightmare. Donna takes the whole family to show them their new trailer. Red warns him a trailer has no place to hide when Donna wants him to do chores around the house. Red warns that Eric would have to dive under the trailer all the time. Eric voices his doubts to Donna, and Donna panics thinking that Eric is having doubts about her. Eric backtracks and assures Donna that everything is OK.
Eric talks to the basement boys about his nightmare. Kelso reckons it is just a stress dream since Eric is getting married the very next day.
Fez and Hyde are allowed to decide who may be best man: scissors, rock, paper (which Fez doesn't want to play as he always picks rock and loses). Kelso is out as the only reason to be the best man is to have sex with the hottest bridesmaid and Kelso is bringing Brooke.
Hyde invents a new game: Cockroach, Foot, Nuclear bomb. Foot crushes cockroach. Bomb kills foot. Cockroach survives bomb. Fez instantly decides to pick Nuclear Bomb and refuses to consider the possibility that Cockroach beats nuclear bomb, as per the rules of the game. But Fez always picks Bomb and Hyde wins 38 times in a row.
Thinking about 'just wedding jibes' must be right for all future divorces really spooks Donna. Donna panics thinking that 50% of all marriages end in divorce, while Kitty, Jackie and Laurie try to calm her down. Donna talks to Jackie to understand if she is making a mistake. Donna says that up till now she has loved being with Eric, but now she feels sick to the pit of her stomach. Jackie says that Donna and Eric are right for each other. Donna is even packed with her suitcase ready to leave.
Donna and Eric are both late for their rehearsal dinner. Yet it's Eric who doesn't show up for their wedding rehearsal. Donna shows up and is really upset. Donna tells everyone that Eric did not show up as he did not want to marry Donna. Hyde and Fez cannot find Eric either and the Cruiser is gone. Kitty still wants to pretend that everything is normal.
Eric later calls in via phone and Hyde picks up. Eric does not want to speak to Donna. He simply called in to say that he is really sorry and that he is not coming to the wedding. Hyde cannot believe that Eric took off like that.
