- Lovers Eric and Donna were the perfect study partners, as they have sex as "study breaks" between writing short sentences for their report on the US Soviet cold war. But then Eric disagrees with Donna's point that Soviet's started the arms race and makes fun of it. From that point on, Donna refuses to have any "study breaks" with Eric. She says she is right, and Eric is wrong. Eric says that Donna is holding out on sex just because they disagree on one point.
Eric and Donna are holding out on each other. After 3 days Eric confides in Hyde and Donna in Jackie. Jackie asks Donna to stay the course as when Eric caves, "she will own him". Hyde also advises the same thing, if Eric caves, Donna will end up owning him. Jackie says that if men find out that women enjoy and want sex as much as they do, the women will never get jewelry again. Donna wears the tightest top possible to her next study session with Eric. Somehow, they both resist each other's sexual advances till Donna is called back home by Midge
Kelso thinks he saw an UFO, and neither Hyde nor Fez believe him. Kelso claims he saw a flying saucer hovering in the air. But Kelso has been known to exaggerate his claims in the past as well and has been proven wrong. They agree to go with Kelso to the park to see if they return (as they have nothing better to do).. Hyde borrows a camera from Leo and takes some pics of planes flying over as "evidence" that UFOs exist. Hyde & Fez are greatly amused by his nude pictures of Kelso on the same roll Leo brings over.
Red imagines being killed by neighbor Bob Pinciotti's tree-pruning. Bob is cutting a tree in his front yard, by himself, even though it is extremely dangerous. Bob loses control over the tree and Red sees it falling on top of him. He "wakes" up in his casket with only Kitty by his side and no friends. As that's a side effect of telling everyone to stick it up their behinds. Red realizes that he should have been nicer to people in his life. Red changes his behavior when he realizes that the tree missed him in real life. He hugs Bob. He starts being friendly with the kids. Red even throws a party for every one of his friends. Red realizes that he hates people, and he can't stand borrowers (One of the guests hadn't returned Red's hedge clippers) and stupid jokes. He enjoys the peace and quiet. He kicks everyone out of his party.
Sex blackmail sounds as an epiphany to Midge. She is just excited that women can do that, and she looks forward to her bathroom painted by Bob by withholding sex from him. Donna is relieved when Eric finally makes up. Donna caves first, but walks out when Eric gloats, and then Eric begs Donna and admits that he caved, and Donna is relieved as she was bluffing.
