- Now their parents know and worry about Eric and Donna's engagement, Eric is terrified and shunned by Red. Red believes that Eric is too young to start living by himself. Kitty says that she is still cutting the crusts off his sandwiches. Kitty forbids Red from yelling at Eric. This is the only part about being a father that he truly enjoys. When Eric gets the silent treatment, he pokes Red by mentioning that Russia is on the track and US got it all wrong. Red starts to extend the same treatment to Eric at work. Instead of asking him to sweep the back, he simply throws the broom at him.
Donna goes to plead their case. She says they are perfect for each other and are in love. Kitty thinks they are too young. Red calls her a dumb-ass & leaves. Bob confronts Kitty about Red calling Donna a dumb-ass.
Fez' boss and lover Nina decides to clear the air and his tension at work by asking him to stay for the night, all the way. When he reports to the gang, it sounds all but romantic and efficient. Fez says that their faces didn't line up right, so he kept bumping his chin on her nose. Fez didn't hear any music (like in the movies), so he hummed but then Nina asked him to stop. But he hummed anyways and then she got sad. After it was over, Fez cried a little and went out the back door. He also left his underwear in her bathroom. At work, things between Fez and Nina are weird. Fez says that sex has ruined things between him and Nina. He goes to speak to Nina at her place. But Nina has her own conclusion. She agrees with Fez that the other night was awful, and she wants to practice and get better at it.
Hyde didn't even know about Jackie's birthday, but Kelso gives her a perfect sweater. Hyde warns Kelso not to go up against him. Hyde says that Kelso is trying to make him look bad in front of Jackie. Kelso claims to Jackie that he paid full price for the sweater. Jackie wears the sweater that Kelso got her as it is pink and fuzzy and exactly what she needed. It cost $27, so she knows it is not cheap. Hyde asks her to remove it as it is from Kelso, but Kelso dares her to keep on wearing it.
Hyde tells Jackie that Kelso slept with Jackie for the first time and didn't call her for a week and he was thinking of breaking up with her. Then he bought her a stuffed unicorn to make up for it. Jackie sees that Kelso buys stuff when he needs something and throws the sweater back at Kelso (he also admits that the sweater is stolen). Eric claims he'll marry Donna even if he must pay for the wedding himself, Red fires him from his job at Price Mart.
Hyde gifts Jackie his used (but favorite) Led Zeppelin T shirt, and she likes it on the condition that she won't have to wear it ever.
