Jack becomes a Hibachi grill cook
CCsito7 July 2011
Warning: Spoilers
This amusing episode involves Vicky receiving a tax refund check from the IRS for $1900. Jack convinces her to give him the money so that he can invest it for her. Her father, who is a businessman, offers to help to invest it, but Jack pleads to let him do it. Jack uses the money to buy some wine that he believes can be resold for a profit. However, when he opens one bottle, it has a vinegar taste. He cannot return it to the store nor sell it. From EZ's suggestion on finding extra work to make up for the lost money for Vicky, he becomes a cook at a Japanese restaurant. His experience in trying to emulate other Japanese cooks is the funny part of this episode. He bungles the job at the table of Japanese customers waiting for their meal. Having failed at the new job, he tries to have the wine thrown out and to use an excuse that it was sold. Vicky then informs Jack that the IRS refund was in error and the amount needed to be returned. Jack, now in a bad situation, braces to tell Vicky about the lost money and the bad wine. Since EZ forgot to throw the wine out, Mr. Bradford offers to buy the case of wine from Jack. Jack declines his offer, but Mr. Bradford insists on buying the case and opens up a bottle to sample it. Jack expects a bad tasting response, but unexpectedly the wine tastes fine. EZ returns and realizes that he forgot to throw the wine out and grabs the bottle from Mr. Bradford and runs out with Mr. Bradford in pursuit.
