Minimal interference, huh?
For all of Larry's complaining about minimal interference in time, it seems like above all else, he's more concerned with being right. This episode has him rambling on about protecting the minds of children, yet he had no problem with Edgar Allan Poe writing for children. That said, Poe's freakout must have changed his attitude significantly. The episode also points out that for all of the time he spends on his high horse, he's also a fan of Danielle Steel and Jackie Collins, whose works aren't exactly child-friendly. I guess he doesn't consider literature as much of a threat to children as theatre. In any case, Mark Hamill is great as always. I love the bit where Tuddrussel suggests "Yabba dabba doo" for a catchphrase and Larry curtly replies "No". If "It's go time" is inappropriate for children, how come Mitch and Cam use it in front of their daughter all the time in 'Modern Family'? Tuddrussel suggesting "Heavens to Murgatroyd" as a catchphrase was hilarious. Only they would make a Snagglepuss joke.
