What's Not to Like?

I love this show and its characters. Plenty of no holds barred vulgarity. Very funny situational comedy. I watched every season and am starting over at the beginning again.

It helps me get things in perspective after a hard day at the office.

Rush concert

Warning: Spoilers
A lot of people will appreciate this if not just for the popularity of Rush, but for the Canadianess of the whole shabang. Bubbles is revealed to be an adament Rush fan, and severely needs tickets to their local concert. This episode isn't my favorite (maybe because I'm not a Rush fan) but the interactions with the celebrities are hilarious and watching how they break into the Rush concert.

Highlights: Ricky kidnapping Alex Lifeson Bubbles being able to get up on stage

Warning: Spoilers
Bubbles kitty needs to see a vet and he puts his faith in Ricky to get him a ticket to the Rush concert. A truck drops a bunch of garbage in front of Lahey's trailer because it's not sorted. Cory and Trevor ask to sell dope at the concert and Julian gives them money for tickets. Ricky and Julian buy a pound of dope off the cops.

While they were waiting in line, Randy starts fighting with Ricky to cause a distraction and Lahey buys all the remaining tickets available. Lahey tells them to help sort the garbage and they might get tickets to the concert. On the radio, they ask for Alex Lifeson's surname and the winner gets to be his guitar tech. Bubbles says the answer, Zivojinovich, but Randy calls in first and gives them the answer.

Ricky decides to go to his hotel disguised as his guitar tech and goes into room 2112. He ties up Alex Lifeson in tape and drags him out of the hotel and back to the trailer park. Julian tells him he made a huge mistake and gets Alex in a taxi back to the hotel.

Cory and Trevor found a way to get to the venue through the sewers and that's their last option to get there. Once they get inside, they see Alex giving Randy a shirt to wear on stage which he refuses to wear. Bubbles goes up and forces him to put it on and they all get kicked out.

They go through to the sewers once again, they make it back to find out Cory and Trevor misplaced their change of clothes. They go into Alex's changing room to find him wearing Ricky's clothes. Bubbles explains how Lahey bought all the tickets and Randy stole his answer on the radio. Alex kicks both of them out and lets Bubbles be his guitar tech for the concert. Bubbles goes up on stage with him and gives him his guitar.

They take a limo back to the park and Ricky apologizes for what happened earlier. Bubbles asks if he can show him some chords on the guitar and they play "Closer to the Heart".

This is one of the best episodes in the entire series. Bubbles shows he's a true fan of Rush and their music while Ricky just wants to sell dope. Lahey and Randy only bought the tickets so they could get the garbage sorted and go camping. Alex was able to look past being abducted, being called a drunk male prostitute and having his wardrobe switched around and still put on an awesome show. Bubbles even makes an appearence in the "Closer to the Heart" music video.
