If the house caves in I want to be in the clear

***SPOILERS***From file #7191 of the IRS Administration we get the lowdown from the chief himself Walter Greaze of the story of tax cheat Edward Malone,Emory Parnell, who beside trying to get into his secretary Louise's, Frances Rafferty, pants is also playing it fast and loose in not paying his taxes by using one of his bus drivers, Malone runs a charted bus service, handsome Johnny Crawford, Paul Dubov, to launder his ill gotten gains and risk being caught and prosecuted by the government for it. Johnny has his own troubles with Malone in that he-Malone-got him by the short hairs in covering up a hit and run accident he was involved in six years ago that killed someone.

It's really Johnny relationship with Louise that really ticks off Malone since he's been trying unsuccessfully to get her to go out on a date with him for years which she rejects since like she told him over and over again that her heart belongs to Johnny. Johnny for his part goes along with Malone in not making any trouble for him that if Malone rats him out to the police he'll end up behind bars and subjected, in him being so boyish as well as fair to look at, to the abuse he'll face from the sex starved inmates who'll treat him as jail bait.

***SPOILERS***Reaching the end of the line and with Lousie promising to wait for Johnny to get out of the clink-jail-to marry him Jonny finally agrees to turn himself in and rat out his boss Malone in his using him to cheat the government out of it's rightful tax returns that he's hiding from it. Malone finding out what Johnny's up to and about to talk breaks into his hotel room and threatens to blow him always only to have the Feds in the person of Agent Logan,Alan Reynolds, come in just in the nick of time to arrest him, who despite being armed gave up quietly without a fight, and have him end up doing 7 years behind bars for being a tax cheat. As for Johnny he got off easy with just two not five years behind bars and put that entire time into protective custody, where non of the horny inmates can gets their hands on him, for his hit and run conviction as well as turning evidence against his boss Malone.
