Very good

Warning: Spoilers
This is one of the best "Tru Calling" episodes up to this point, for several reasons: it is gripping right from the first seconds; it is particularly well-directed by David Solomon (I loved the little forewarning about the woman that would eventually ask for Tru's help, as well as the later "bullet shot"); it has plenty of twists; it develops the on-going story of the show by having Harrison (whose scenes are the only relief from the tension here) finally believing in Tru's powers; and it shows that the writers are willing to play around with the different concepts of time traveling, throwing a bit of "course correction" to the mix: the subplot of Meredith's "appointment" with a drug dealer plays out in two different ways, but in both she ends up with a wound on her cheek. Jessica Collins gives her finest performance so far, especially in her phone call to Tru at the end. *** out of 4.

Murder at the wedding.

Warning: Spoilers
Well written, good plot, there is hope for this series yet.

I was getting a bit discouraged. Quantum Leap, Journeyman and Back to the Future had all done it before. But this time we have an element of Murder she wrote.

Tru takes delivery of a victim shot and wounded at a wedding. The ambulance has been held up because of a traffic jam. Suddenly the grieving bridegroom arrives and requests a few moments alone. When Davis arrives he is shot dead when he interrupts the killer removing a bullet from the body.

When Tru rewinds she has to track down the victim and try to prevent an ex boyfriend from attending the wedding. To everyone's surprise the bride is shot again and Tru drives her to the morgue where she performs life saving surgery.

This is well written and I didn't see the plot twist till the last minute. Excellent episode.
