What a start! A genuinely brilliant first episode of this wonderful show, so many brilliant sketches, including ordinary man, family planning, and of course that rousing all day shopping song at the end.
What was it about Victoria Wood that made her so special, much loved, much missed. If you need a reminder of her brilliance, just watch this.
Clearly able to attract the best stars because of her talent, the Jim Broadbent sketch is classic, one of the best. Time has been incredibly kind to this show. 9/10.
