The Sweathog savings fund
kevinolzak1 July 2016
"Inherit the Halibut" finds the entire Sweathog savings stored in a stuffed fish in an empty tank in the Kotter classroom, with Freddie 'Boom Boom' Washington duly elected treasurer. Once the money is discovered to be missing, and Washington cruising into class on a new bicycle, the accusations fly, with the treasurer now designated a thief. Gabe suggests the proper way to handle the situation is a trial, Freddie innocent until proved guilty, presided over by judge Vinnie Barbarino, in bathrobe rather than black robe, Epstein the bailiff, Horshack the prosecutor. Washington's opening statement echoes a former president: "I am not a crook!" Kotter serves as defense attorney: "when you walk through the cow pasture of facts, you're bound to step in some truth!" The solution is perfectly logical, but the Sweathogs have a lesson to learn beforehand.
