The Kotters move into a new apartment
kevinolzak2 July 2016
"What a Move" sees the Kotter quartet finally moving into a new and larger apartment (new address 1962 Lyndon Boulevard), their new landlord Juan's uncle Moe Epstein (Herb Edelman, his only appearance). Everything seems too good to be true, especially when Moe informs the Kotters that he has a rule against babies. Juan is heartbroken over this revolting development, Gabe suggesting they find his family tree and chop it down! Moe Epstein displays an ability to start a slum and transform it into a thriving ghetto, a knack for fighting with tenants because that's how he gets his kicks. The Kotters are relieved that he hasn't any legal grounds to deny them their new home, even hiring his nephew back in the process: "I'll teach you how to evict the bedridden!"
