- Jim Backus is in the panel and they couldn't guess the lines of a yodeling trainer and a girl corset fitter. Backus fond out immediately the personality of Irene Dunne who at the time was a representative of the United Nations.
- This is Arlene Francis' birthday (she was 50 - having been born in 1907 - but nobody asked her age) which Jim Backus and Bennett Cerf both wished her a happy one during their introductions. Cerf says that his birthday is May 25th and closes the show by saying that Arlene's husband, Martin Gabel, gave her a baby grand piano for her birthday. The announcer mentions in his introduction that Dorothy Kilgallen has just returned from her coverage of the Queen of England's visit.
The first contestant from Colorado runs a school for yodeling and stumps the panel. He gives them a sample of yodeling before he leaves. The next contestant also stumps the panel. She fits corsets for women. During the last two questions, the audience laughed loudly several times. Bennett Cerf asked if one could sit or recline on one of these. Dorothy Kilgallen followed up by asking if it could be folded and then asked if one could used it on a bed.
Mystery guest Irene Dunne, who was named by President Eisenhower as a U.S. delegate to the United Nations, only got 2 no answers. She blew her questioning by offering that she once was in pictures but is no longer...instead of answering with a yes or no. She plugged the upcoming 12th anniversary of the UN by saying that the American public is realizing what a great international forum it has become. She noted that for all the UN does, it costs every American only 42 cents a year....which is estimated to be only one-half day's cost of World War II. She said that it was "a reasonable price to pay to hold on to peace." As Dunne leaves the stage, Dorothy Kilgallen (who sits on the end of the panel) glowingly admires Dunne's dress!
The last contestant from Buffalo is a female judge. The panel guesses it quickly also after only two no answers.
