Alexandra Lindley, the second contestant, was a groomer and trainer to 'Mister Softee', a show-jumping horse which won an 'Individual Gold' medal at the 1962European Championships with rider David Barker and would win again in 1967 and 1969 with Welsh rider David McPherson Broome.
Emanuel Ress (1907-1967), the last contestant, owned the 'Emress Specialty Co.', one of the biggest manufacturers of political buttons. Ress had previously appeared on episode 'Lilli Palmer (1952)' and, this time, he gave each regular panelist a button with their 1952 photo on it.
Robert Ryan and Nanette Fabray were co-starring in the musical 'Mr. President', which was given a tryout at the National Theatre in Washington, DC, on September 25, 1962, and attended by President John F. Kennedy and First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy. The production premiered at the St. James Theatre on Broadway on October 20, 1962, the day before this broadcast, and ran for 265 performances. Fabray would be nominated for a Tony Award.
