Several sabotages committed to military bases worry the authorities, Steve and Diana focus their suspicions on the organizers of a beauty pageant who, curiously, have appeared in all the places of the attacks. After the pilot episode and two episodes broadcast as specials on American TV, it could be said that this episode is a new beginning of the series for several reasons. Until this moment we could see Diana Prince limited to assisting Steve and taking notes in her notebook, here we see her much more self-assured, making her own decisions and transform into a spy to find out the plans of the enemies. The whole team seems to have definitely found their characters as of this episode, Steve, Etta and General Blankenship having a more active participation. It is also the first time that the new flash of light transformation is used, which would later remain forever. While it's clear that the budget for this episode was limited and that it was done almost entirely in studio using stock footage of the soldiers, the story is so entertaining it's barely noticeable, and the casting with Bobby Van, Dick Van Patten, Anne Francis and Christa Helm is very well done.
